Work conference + bday dinner + bday brunch + shopping for India
Hello and happy Sunday!
I was at a work conference in Phoenix this week. Although it was an interesting experience to be away from home in the middle of the election, it was great to reconnect with coworkers and learn from some great speakers and sessions. I didn’t take quite as many pictures as I should have, but did mange to snap this one morning. I packed my A&F Sloane Pants* in the Short length in both navy and brown, a blue Sezane silk blouse*, a beige Quince cashmere tee*, an Edited Pieces reversible belt, and white Vejas*.
I also celebrated my birthday this week! I had dinner with my fiancé at Canje and brunch with my brother and his girlfriend at Grácia Mediterranean. Both were delicious. Also pictured are the cutest flowers I found at Central Market!

Remember when I wrote a love letter to the Miu Miu slingbacks in February? Well, my fiancé read it and took note and surprised me with my very own pair (!!!!!) of Miu Mius* for my birthday 😭🥺. I am so lucky and so so spoiled!! I am OBSESSED with them. For my birthday dinner, I wore them paired with an Aritzia linen vest*, Anine Bing skirt*, and my small Solferino* handbag.
For birthday brunch, I wore a Sablyn crop sweater (sold out), L’agence Utility pants (similar), Madewell Mary Janes*, and Lululemon belt bag*.
We’re headed to India for wedding shopping soon! India is quite warm at the moment so I picked up a few linen pants from Quince that have a 25” inseam - hoping these are a perfect fit! I also picked up some Tevas, as I was in need of some secure sandals with lots of airflow. We’re going to be walking around a lot and I didn’t want to struggle with uncomfortable footwear. Last but not least, I picked up the 3L shoulder bag from Lulu. I get so much wear out of my 1L belt bag for errands and walking the dog. This is very similar, but has a bit more space and will be better for travel. I like that it comes with two straps so I can wear it as a shoulder bag for “dressier” situations and switch to crossbody for errands.
See you next Sunday,
