the wicker basket logic is so true; my husband bought me THE loewe basket bag a few birthdays ago and i sold it within a year because £500+ for a bag made of straw with a tiiiiny patch of leather made me feel weird
LOVE this comment and so timely because I was just about to share a post about this very same Loewe puzzle bag this weekend! Similar to you I had this bag on my wishlist for a long time, but finally decided to go in a different direction.
I love the math of the 400$ saving by not buying the dress 😍😍
Right?
I love this concept! That Om bag is to die for, but that price point definitely stings.
Agreed!
😆 love this idea of the anti-haul! I keep a wish list and visit it when I feel the urge. It has really curtailed my shopping, slowed my decisions and focused me on what I really need/ want. Thanks for this alternative idea! https://open.substack.com/pub/mystylerush/p/tips-on-how-to-wish-list?r=32mst3&utm_medium=ios
Thanks for the kind comment - wishlists are so helpful too!

Ohhh butter yellow dress is stunning!! But great point about the polyester and dry clean necessity, both are turn offs even to a great looking piece
If that came in a linen, it would be *chefs kiss*
im so glad you did this! soo good!
I really enjoy hearing what people ended up not buying.
Same here!
